Movimiento Cultural Canyengue Argentino

Movimiento Cultural Canyengue Argentino (Mo.C.C.A.) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its purpose is to promote the canyengue[1] style of Argentine tango.

Mo.C.C.A. was founded in 2002 by Marta Anton [1] and Roxina Villegas [2], with El Gallego Manolo and Adrian Griffero. Mo.C.C.A. organises weekly tango canyengue classes in Buenos Aires, with teachers trained by the organisation. From 2004-2009, the association also held an annual festival of tango roots (CaMiCando - Canyengue, Milonga, Candombe). It continues to promote professional and amateur tango canyengue[2] workshops, worldwide.
